Thank you for supporting the Hali Hammer Family Health Center Scholarship! We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and appreciation for Hali and her legacy of compassionate care and fearless leadership that continues to inspire all of us at the Family Health Center at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.
Through the generosity of individuals like you, our GoFundMe (https://gofund.me/c5af0079) has resulted in over 70 individuals and teams raising $5,300 since we launched the effort in February 2024. The reach and amount raised have far exceed our modest goal – Thank you!
With the funds raised, we anticipate providing at least 10 scholarships to graduates of John O’Connell High School, where the Family Health Center has had a longstanding partnership. As a result of your generosity, two students were awarded $500 scholarships in May 2024:

We are thrilled to support pathways to health careers for our local graduates with the Hali Hammer Family Health Center Scholarship and excited to be able to continue supporting additional students at least through 2028 with your help. We all know that the cost of education is only increasing and providing this financial support relieves incredible stress and burden on students and their families.
