Dr. Christine Dehlendorf Inducted Into the National Academy of Medicine

Christine Dehlendorf receives her National Academy of Medicine recognition on stage at the 2026 NAM Annual Meeting.

Congratulations to Christine Dehlendorf, MD, MS, UCSF Family & Community Medicine Vice Chair for Research and founder and director of the UCSF Person-Centered Reproductive Health Program, who was formally inducted into the National Academy of Medicine (NAM) at the Academy’s 2026 Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. in October.

Christine was elected to NAM in 2025 in recognition of her pioneering work to advance equitable, evidence-based, person-centered reproductive health care—work that centers patients’ values, preferences, dignity, and autonomy. Election to NAM is among the highest honors in health and medicine.

We’re proud to celebrate this extraordinary recognition of Christine’s contributions to reproductive health research, clinical care, and health policy.
