Our Program

UCSF Family and Community Medicine (FCM) has a highly successful, well-established residency program at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, and we are excited to be launching a new FCM residency track at UCSF Lakeshore in July 2026. Lakeshore is a full spectrum, community based, academic family medicine practice that serves a diverse mix of patients regarding age, race, ethnicity, language spoken (with a sizable Cantonese, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Spanish speaking population), and insurance type. Lakeshore has been a highly rated medical student teaching site for more than two decades. We are excited to train and learn from students interested in family medicine.
